Sadiq al-Harasi is a Sana’a-based cultural practitioner, emerging artist and storyteller with a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering from Sana'a University.
Sadiq works with various artistic mediums to explore the intersections between culture, identity, social justice and the relations between people and their environment. He brings this concern to Yemen, as his work tries to develop a new narrative about the country’s contemporary cohesion, identity and culture. Through this effort, he hopes to help ensure that future generations can enjoy and appreciate the beauty of Yemeni art and culture.
Sadiq has exhibited his work locally, virtually, and internationally at the Centre for Fine Arts in Brussels, BOZAR; SOMA Art in Berlin; Zara Centre in Amman; and the M7 museum in Doha.
