Mohammed Atiyah Al-Darraji is an Iraqi filmmaker and a graduate of the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad. Atiyah’s artistic career began in 2004 when he acted in Dreams, a film by Iraqi director Mohamed al-Daradji. He went on to play the leading role in Atiyah al-Daradji’s Path of Mariam in 2014. Atiyah participated in a series of workshops organized by the Iraqi Independent Film Center. He has contributed to a number of international films in various capacities, including Son of Babylon (2009), In the Sands of Babylon (2013), In My Mother’s Arms (2011), Path of Mariam (2016), Children of War (2014), and Happy Birthday (2013).
