Fatima Wardy is a Sudanese filmmaker working across fiction and non-fiction. She is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Media Production at UT Austin's Radio-Television-Film Department. Fatima's work is concerned with how displacement impacts individuals from the African diaspora. She is passionate about enriching the public's understanding of migrant experiences and tells stories that focus on community, heritage and history.
