Asmaa Gamal is a director and producer. Her first feature documentary My Dream to Fly was selected to participate in Qumra Industry Week. She is the recipient of the 2020 AFAC-Netflix Hardship Fund. In 2022, she participated in Medimed in Spain. In 2023, she was selected to participate in the Global Media Maker program with Film Independent in Los Angeles and Hot Docs-Blue Ice Fund in Canada.
