Majd graduated with a BSc in Environmental Sciences in 2004 from Jordan, she later  got a masters degree in Audiovisual Management from the Media Business School -Spain 2011. Majd entered the film industry by acting in a short film - Overdose in 2005, later she started work with the Royal Film Commission of Jordan in the capacity building department. In 2007 she left the commission to pursue her career in film production, working on several foreign films. In 2010 she produced her first fiction feature; The Last Friday and in 2014 she produced the feature documentary film -Saken for Sandra Madi.  Ever since 2012 has been working as a producer through her company Labiba Productions based in Amman -Jordan.
