Amr Hamid is an Egyptian-Swedish multimedia artist, writer, researcher and curator born in Talkha, Dakahlia in 1986. He lives and works between Sweden and Egypt and is the founder and project manager of the Egyptian Cassette Archive, as well as a founding member of the international art collective Flat Octopus.
