Dhia Bousselmi, born in 1992, is a writer, journalist, and translator. He has published poetry collections such as Alone Against the Wall (Moment Publications, 2018) and A Thousand and One Specters of Death (Pop Libris Editions, 2020). He published a graphic story titled The Night of July 25, illustrated by Egyptian artist Mai Karim, with Pop Libris Editions in 2023. Bousselmi has received several awards, including the Rambourg Foundation Prize for Art and Culture in 2018, the Hadi al-Balegh Translation Award in 2020, and the Lina Ben Mhenni Prize for Freedom of Expression for the best journalistic article in 2022. He also received the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) grant in 2022 for his book Ali Douagi: the Pursuit of Happiness (Pop Libris Editions, 2024).
