Marie-Rose Osta is a Lebanese scriptwriter and director. With a passion for independent film-making, she has directed a number of short films, each with its own flavor. Her latest creation, Then Came Dark (2021), premiered at the 43rd Cairo International Film Festival and won the Special Jury Award. It was also presented at the 40th São Paulo Biennial. Marie-Rose is currently in the midst of developing her debut feature film, while producing her new short, both part of her diptych on childhood.
