Laya holds a BA in Marketing with a minor in Psychology from the American University of Beirut. She amassed four years of experience in a health and wellness startup, where she wore multiple hats, ranging from business development to marketing and website management. Prior to joining AFAC, she served as a marketing specialist at a regional music label. Since 2021, she has actively contributed to Beirut's contemporary dance scene and has a keen interest in visual arts and photography. In 2023, she joined AFAC as a grants coordinator.
