Marwa is a cultural practitioner with a BA in Theater from the Lebanese University in Beirut, where she graduated in 2013. From 2013 to 2016, she taught performing arts in schools, also practiced acting in local television series and performed in different roles in theater.

Since 2016, Marwa has shifted her focus to cultural management. She has worked as a program coordinator and project manager for both local and regional organizations. Between 2016 and 2024, she collaborated with several organizations, including Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung, where she served as a communication officer, and UMAM D&R, focusing on issues of prisons, and transitional justice through arts. At Ettijahat Independent Culture, she served as program coordinator for grant programs for art production, educational series, and initiatives support, in addition to coordinating cultural projects. In 2023, she joined AFAC as a grants manager.
