Lama's background is in philosophy with an MBA in arts and cultural management. She has worked on different cultural projects that have allowed her to merge her varying interests and passions, ranging from sexual and reproductive health and rights, representation in film and text, digitization and archiving, to artistic education and production. She joined AFAC in 2021 as a grants manager.
