Cultural Philanthropy in the Arab World
Research that assesses the impact of arts and culture on society is important for a deeper understanding of the often non-tangible returns that funding arts and culture produces. This database is an informal hub for exchanging knowledge and information related to the development of contemporary arts and culture in the Arab world and to cultural philanthropy. Creating this database on our website emerged as an action item following the 5th Annual Donors Meeting held in December 2011.
This philanthropy database features publications by donor foundations and cultural institutions that support independent Arab artists and cultural practitioners.
