Liverpool Arab Arts Festival 2018 (LAAF) will be celebrating its 20th anniversary from the 5th to the 15th of July 2018 with a diverse program offering theatre and spoken word, film, music, dance and visual arts in addition to a series of workshops and family activities.
The AFAC-supported performance “At Home in Gaza and London” will be hosted by Station House Opera on the 9th and the 10th of July. The performance follows the lives of people in two locations separated by great political, economic and physical divides and invites the audience to explore ideas of home and the hidden realities of life in two locations, 2,000 miles apart.
On Saturday 7 July, AFAC grantee Emel Mathlouthi will be joined by “The Moroccan Digitalizer”, U-Cef, for a special DJ set.
