“When I Saw You” wins Best Asian Film at Berlinale 2013!!! - 19 Feb, 2013 

Annemarie Jacir’s film When I Saw You wins Netpac's BEST ASIAN FILM at the Berlin International Film Festival -  Berlinale 2013 which has run from the 7th to the 17th of February. This marks the first time a Jordanian film wins an award at one of the A-level film festivals. The NETPAC jury described the film, which has received AFAC’s Cinema grant in 2009, as “beautiful and courageous” explaining that the film was chosen as best Asian film for “its humanity and finely crafted depiction of hope, yearning and belief in a better future.”
